The Marching Band

 

One of the best in California, the Granite Bay High School Emerald Brigade has won the State Championships 3 times as well as numerous awards throughout California.  Our marching band is a hard working team consisting of 130+ high school students achieving great things.

Concert Bands

 

Due to the 4x4 block schedule at GBHS, the Spring Season consists of 2 concert ensembles including Wind Ensemble which is audition only and Concert Band which consists of all other students.  The concert programs have a long history of incredible performances including Carnegie Hall, Hawaii, and the Kennedy Center for the performing Arts.  The concert programs perform in Festivals in the Spring and have 3 Spring Concerts in May.

The Winter Programs and Jazz Band
The Winter programs consist of Winter
Percussion, Winterguard and Jazz Band. All groups compete on a regular basis and have a high expectation for success.

Our students are professional young men and women who constantly surprise me with what they can accomplish.  I'm so proud to be a part of the Granite Bay High School community and even more proud to be the leader of this amazing organization.
